How we may be compensated
SettleInBC may receive compensation from businesses through directory listings, featured placement, sponsorship of a city or service area, employer relocation partnerships, content or event sponsorship, and referral arrangements with independent professionals.
The specific commercial terms of any individual arrangement are agreed privately with that business.
What compensation does not change
Paid arrangements never affect:
- Objective city comparison data, cost estimates or calculator results.
- The factual content of our educational pages.
- The outcome of any quiz, match or planning tool.
Labelling
Sponsored placements and sponsored content are labelled as sponsored where they appear, with a visible disclosure. Sponsorship never implies government endorsement, professional endorsement by SettleInBC, or any guaranteed outcome.
Applications are reviewed
Submitting a partnership application does not create a listing. Every application is reviewed manually, and no business appears publicly on this site until it has been approved.
