What we aim for

We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA as a practical target. We have not commissioned a formal third-party accessibility audit, so this is a statement of intent rather than a certification.

Steps we take

Ongoing practices across the site include:

  • Semantic headings and landmarks so screen readers can navigate pages.
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images.
  • Keyboard-operable navigation, forms and buttons with visible focus styles.
  • Colour choices intended to keep body text readable against its background.
  • Respecting the operating-system setting for reduced motion.

Known limitations

Some interactive tools, charts and exported files may be harder to use with assistive technology. Third-party embeds such as scheduling and form scripts are not fully under our control.

Report a barrier

If something on this site is difficult to use, email settleinbc@gmail.com with the page address and a short description, and we will work on it and provide the information another way in the meantime.
